For aspies by othersASCON (Asperger Connections)This is a support group for aspies and their families. ASCON meets once a month in Cape Town. Some meetings are for parents of children only; others are for adults. Some ASCON events are open to people who work with autistic children and adults, and may include talks on subjects such as ADHD or sensory problems. The group is facilitated by the wife of an aspie (who is also mother to several aspie children) and by psychologist Jana Forrester. ContactAvril 021 715 5255
Autism South AfricaAutism South Africa is run by non-aspies and provides information on the Asperger neurotype and other forms of autism.
